    Organ Music

After playing Vangelis's 'Voices' to death since I bought it a few weeks ago I thought it was time to move on.

So what next? How about some classic Organ music...?

Does anyone own or heard any good quality CDs featuring some deep rumbling octives that will give my Kefs and Storm a work out?

    How about

Of course it is a very obvious choice as it is one of the most famous pieces of music altogether and you probably own it already. But there are countless variations, I like the mentioned version; its got some really impressive organ sounds

Can't say I know too much Organ music, but do look out for Bach's Tocatta & Fugue in D Minor - played on the Organ. It is a stunning piece of classical music - sadly over used on some old Vampire films and as an atmospheric back ground - but still worth a listen.

What about some of the 60's prog rock bands like Yes or even early Genesis, early Rush, King Crimson or even early Emerson, Lake & Palmer - they loved the Organ (there's the famous story of the organ player using a massive knive to jam the keys down on one live performance and it was apparently a stunning show)

I have Toccata on CD already and it does sound impressive doesn't it.

I've looked on amazon but theres alot of classical stuff and not much else, well not my taste anyway.

Maybe I should stick to Vangelis, lol.
