Hi Vanthomme - Greetings form the UK - welcome to the forum

In my opinion you would certainly get a better picture on a 'Proper' Screen, I imagine that the roll up curtain you are using would be absorbing the light from your projector and not bouncing it back into your room enough to give you the best picture !!!!

Have a look through this guide which will give you much more info.... if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask

Have you got a link ??

    Welcome to the forum Ed.

I've not owned a Projecta screen before, but I have heard goo things about them. A friend used to use an Ike Tuppla blackout blind as his screen before moving to a proper screen and whilst the image on the blind was good for the price (less than 20 Euro) he did see a massive improvement from having a screen. Both the brightness and contrast were improved.

Only a rough translation but think most of that makes sense..
