Did anyone see or hear about Mel Gibsons shocking telephone conversation with his ex girlfriend where by he theatens her with physical violence?



I know theres no justification for what Mel says but I do get the feeling he's been well set up.

I hope this isn't the end for Mels career as he makes some great films and would be sadly missed.

Could it really be a set-up though Kev, I find it hard to believe how it could be, I think it has gone a bit quite about it already aswell, so hopefully not tooooooo much lasting damage ??

I don't think you record a conversation like that unless you're going to use it as either evidence or to embarress some one some how. She could have just taken the tape to the cops rather than release it to the press.

But theres no defence for what Mels said or done. I like Mel the film maker and it would be a shame if he stopped making good movies because of his personal crisis.
