    Hi All
As a complete newbie I'm having problems with my sound.
I have a Foxstat HD box through a Sony projector connected to a Samsung HD-DV3 home cinema. The Foxstat is connected to the projector via HDMI cable and give a very good picture.
My problem is that I cannot get any sound; I've connected the Foxstat to the Sammy via audio cable. I've tried an optical cable and again receive no sound.
Can any of you experts tell me where I'm going wrong!
    Regards
    Dragonsnapper

Hi and welcome to the site dragonsnapper.

Have you tried looking in the menu system on the Sky HD box to see if you can switch the audio from HDMI to Optical?

    Welcome to the forum..

I hope we end up being more help than the official manual is on the matter..!

    "No or poor sound

    • Check that your AV cable is connected correctly.
Check the volume levels of your TV set and the product.
Check if the product or TV is on mute."
